We understand that losing weight can be daunting and a huge challenge, with many having had multiple failed attempts. Fat loss can have a vastly positive impact on your health and wellbeing, which is why we are delighted to offer a medical prescription weight loss programme in partnership with The National Medical Weight Loss Programme™.
Essentially, the medication prescribed stops you from feeling hungry, from having cravings and slows down the rate that your stomach empties, making you feel fuller and satisfied for longer. This will help you control your appetite, curb hunger, suppress cravings, reduce portion size, and therefore release stored fat, lose weight, and develop positive habits. Completing this treatment alongside a calorie-controlled diet and exercise is the best combination to get you to your desired weight.
The treatment consists of a simple painless injection once a week using an easy-to-use pre-filled pen. We do offer oral tablets for those that are completely opposed to the injection as an alternative, although the injections are the most effective. We can discuss treatment options with you before you make your decision.
Step 1 – Complete our weight loss treatment consultation form in order for us to assess your suitability for treatment.
Step 2 – Once deemed suitable by our prescriber, we will contact you to arrange a convenient time to call you to go through the available treatment options. You will then decide on your preferred course of treatment and your initial consultation can be booked. Full payment must be made at this stage.
Step 3 – We will prescribe your chosen treatment option and have it delivered to the clinic or your home address ready for your initial consultation.
Step 4 – During your initial consultation we will check measurements such as weight, height and waist circumference as well as blood pressure. We will have an in-depth discussion around weight loss and the treatment itself. We will then assist you to complete your first injection to ensure you feel confident to carry on the treatment yourself at home.
Follow up support – We will check in with you 2 days after your first injection and then 5 days after this. Check-ins will then be weekly for the first month to ensure you have the support to stay on track. You will have your prescriber’s contact details so you can be confident that there will always be someone to contact should you need to.
